The MU School of Music presents the annual Chancellor’s Concert, a showcase of ensembles including the Concert Jazz Band, MU Steel, Show-Me Opera, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, University Philharmonic, and University Singers. The program includes the world premiere of a new concerto for guitar and orchestra, composed by Master of Music candidate Michael Strausbaugh, the 2010 Sinquefield Prize winner. Ticket proceeds benefit the Chancellor’s Friends of Music Endowed Scholarship Fund. Call 573-882-2606 for more information about the Scholarship Fund.
