Since making his debut on NPR in 1992, David Sedaris has become one of the most well-known comedic writers worldwide. Sedaris, a two-time Grammy nominee, has sold over 7 million books published in 25 different languages. Time magazine’s "humorist of the year" in 2001, Sedaris has penned multiple bestsellers including Barrel Fever and Holidays on Ice.

Sedaris has also written personal essays inspired by his life experiences and upbringing in suburban North Carolina such as Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and When You Are Engulfed in Flames.

His most recent work, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk, a collection of fables featuring illustrations by Ian Falconer, will be published September 28, 2010, and will be available at the show for you to pick up and have signed.
