The University Concert Series has no full-time job openings at this time.

The Concert Series is offering an unpaid internship. The intern will report to the Box Office Manager.

Length of Internship | Semester – Full Year: Dependent on registered credit hours; determined by advisor.

Availability | Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., and select weekday and weekend evenings for special events. 

Job Duties | Assisting with the operation of the Concert Series Box Office; assisting in the preparation of marketing and other public materials; being a member of the Student Marketing Committee; interacting directly with the public; researching artists; assisting with various duties on the day of performance, including, but not limited to, hospitality, box office, receptions, and merchandise.

Essential Duties | Must provide transportation to and from office.  Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds.  Must be able to be on feet and moving about for up to 4 hours (during special events). 

Qualifications | Detail-oriented, marketing, management, public relations, communication, or performing arts/event management major with good writing skills, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and web research. Applicants should be interested in and have some knowledge of the performing arts. Applicants must be creative, organized, resourceful, work independently, manage multiple assignments and interact with a wide variety of people in person, over the phone and via e-mail.

Compensation | This internship is non-paid.
